After opening the season versus Green Bay, the Bears will play back-to-back Sunday road games against defending division champions, first in Tampa versus the Buccaneers Sept. 17 (noon), and then in Kansas City against the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs Sept. 24 (3:25 p.m.).
The Bears will return home to host the Broncos Sunday, Oct. 1 (noon) before playing all four of their scheduled night games in an eight-week span. They’ll play the first of two Thursday Night Football contests Oct. 5 against the Commanders in Washington (7:15 p.m.) before returning home for back-to-back Sunday noon contests at Soldier Field versus the Vikings Oct. 15 and Raiders Oct. 22.
After three of four games at home, the Bears will play four of their next five on the road. The stretch begins with consecutive away matchups in Los Angeles versus the Chargers on Sunday Night Football Oct. 29 (7:20 p.m.) and in New Orleans against the Saints Sunday, Nov. 5 (noon).
The Bears will then return to Chicago for their lone prime-time home game of the season, a Thursday Night Football contest against the Panthers Nov. 9 (7:15 p.m.).
After another mini-bye following their second Thursday night game, the Bears will again play back-to-back road contests—this time against NFC North foes—in Detroit versus the Lions Sunday, Nov. 19 (noon) and in Minnesota against the Vikings in their only Monday Night Football appearance of the season Nov. 27 (7:15 p.m.).
After a Week 13 bye, the Bears will close the season with five games that all will be played in outdoor stadiums in cold climates. They’ll host the Lions Sunday, Dec. 10 (noon) and visit the Browns in Cleveland the following weekend (date and time TBD).
The Bears will then host back-to-back Sunday games against the Cardinals on Christmas Eve Day (3:25 p.m.) and the Falcons on New Year’s Eve Day (noon) before closing the season versus the Packers at Lambeau Field.
The NFL also announced the Bears’ preseason schedule. They’ll host the Titans Aug. 12 (6 p.m.), visit the Colts Aug. 19 (6 p.m.) and then return to Soldier Field to face the Bills Aug. 26 (6 p.m.).
