Heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua is all set to take on Robert Helenius at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night after Dillian Whyte had to back out. Helenius, who is nearing the end of his career, came to Joshua’s rescue as he accepted a fight on just a week’s notice after White failed a drug test. The fight between Joshua and Dillian White was considered high-profile as the two fought eight years ago and a rematch had been in talks for a long time.
Joshua will be entering the ring as a favorite as he is a two-time world champion. He emerged victorious in his last fight by unanimous decision against Jermaine Franklin Jr. in April of this year. Filip Hrgovic, positioned as the next contender for Oleksandr Usyk’s IBF heavyweight championship, will be competing on the undercard. His opponent is the undefeated Australian Demsey McKean, who was previously considered for a match against Tyson Fury earlier this year.
